Bill Beckett recently merged his production company, VIBE Productions, with Catherine Gray's renowned FYI Productions to form Corp Shorts in Los Angeles, CA.

He has had extraordinary background as an entrepreneur, having co-founded a successful chain of 60 restaurants called Pick-Up Stix, which was later purchased by TGI Fridays. His company was the recipient of the esteemed Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Orange County, California.

Beckett is a dynamic businessman, with great people and marketing skills- and boasts many accomplishments in all his endeavors including the restaurant business, a jewelry company, real estate and now the film industry. He sees a great opportunity to help baby boomer business associates grow their businesses with short content on the Internet, Mobile and New Media Technologies.


 


Catherine Gray co-founded Corp Shorts video productions in Los Angeles to create leading edge corporate video products that help companies capitalize on new media to grow their business. After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting, Gray moved to California and started a video/photography franchise business with Candid Color Systems.

She was the second highest grossing new franchise in the company her first year out of college. After two years, she sold the business and returned to the east coast.

After returning to Miami, Gray enjoyed many achievements working in the Cable Television Industry for the next twenty years. She gained invaluable experience working on both sides of the camera. Gray has produced and directed many award winning film productions including "I Can't Marry You", narrated by Betty DeGeneres, mother of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, which aired on PBS, film comedy Million Dollar Salad, several television series including "Way Off Broadway" and "Hello South Florida", as well as numerous television commercials. Catherine also worked on the award winning film "Laughing Matters More", which won many film festival awards, and co-produced other film productions such as Comedienne Kate Clinton's 25th Anniversary Concert, and "Laughing Matters -The Men", starring famous comedy writer Bruce Vilanch, who writes for Bette Midler, Whoopi Goldberg, the OSCARS etc. – which aired on popular cable networks.

Ms. Gray has an exceptional sales and business background, having achieved the status of being the top advertising account executive in the country for over a decade with TCI and AT&T Media Services, generating millions of dollars in revenues for the company. Catherine also served as a Vice President of Advertising for C1TV, a start-up cable network in South Beach, and worked as a consultant to Bravo and AMC Networks in New York City.


 



As the Production Manager at Corp Shorts, Stephanie Schmidt has a background in both film production and administration. A graduate from the American Film Institute with a master's degree in Cinematography, she also received her BFA in Film from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.

Since graduating from AFI in 2007, she has worked as a Director of Photography, Gaffer, Key Grip, Dolly Grip, Camera Assistant, etc. on numerous feature and short length productions as well as music videos, web series and corporate videos. Her films have screened at a number of film festivals, including Outfest at the DGA and Tribeca.

Stephanie has also had experience working in Broadcast Standards and Practices at the CW Network, and has been instrumental in assisting large company CEO's with hiring, management and overall company growth.


 



Senior Editor extraordinaire Gabe Sena heads up our editing teams and has edited hundreds of corporate videos, commercials, feature films and documentaries- including Brian De Palma's "The Black Dahlia," and "IOUSA" (aired on PBS).

Gabe is a graduate of UCLA's M.F.A. Film Directing Program. He has worked at the Sundance Institute, and is also an award winning director.

Before beginning his editing career, Sena was an Associate Creative Director at the Frankel Advertising Agency in San Francisco.

 

 



 

 

A graduate of Chapman University's acclaimed film school, Will Gordh has worked in all aspects of film production. He graduated from the high school theater curriculum known as EPIC (Ensemble Production Company) in Northern California, which began his intensive study of the acting process.

During his intensive film school training, He immersed himself in numerous projects, writing, shooting, directing and editing several award-winning short films. Since graduating with a BFA in film production in May 2004, Gordh has been working professionally as a writer, editor and director for several independent production companies.

As an editor, he has edited feature length films, numerous nationally syndicated television shows and commercials, and has worked for clients such as Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin. Gordh has also recently completed post production on his feature length directorial debut, "Night Watcher," which has international distribution through Liongs Gate.

His technical and creative expertise in the field of editing and cinematography coupled with his focus on the acting process makes for a style of filmmaking that is sleek, modern and fresh.
