Bill Beckett recently merged his production company, VIBE Productions, with Catherine Gray's renowned FYI Productions to form Showbiz Shorts LLC in West Hollywood, CA. Bill has had extraordinary background as an entrepreneur, having co-founded a successful chain of 60 restaurants called Pick-Up Stix, which was later purchased by TGI Fridays. The company was the recipient of the esteemed Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Orange County, California.
Bill is a dynamic businessman, with great people and marketing skills - and boasts many accomplishments in all his endeavors including the restaurant business, a jewelry company, real estate and now the film industry. Catherine Gray co-founded Corp Shorts video productions in West Hollywood to create leading edge corporate video products that help companies capitalize on new media to grow their business. She then teamed up with executive search veteran Mark Sadovnick to launch Rezbuzz to showcase company profiles and video resumes all in one online location for networking purposes. The video profiles are created to provide companies, job seekers and executives with online branding for a competitive edge.
After graduating from the University
of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting,
Catherine moved to California and started a video/photography
franchise business with Candid Color Systems, and exclusively
covered events and graduations at several universities
including CSU Sacramento, CSU Fresno, UC Davis, CSU Chico,
and Reno - among others. She was the second highest grossing
new franchise in the company her first year out of college.
After two years, Catherine sold the business and returned
to the east coast.
Once she returned to Miami, Catherine
enjoyed many achievements working in the Cable Television
Industry for the next twenty years. Gray gained invaluable
experience working on both sides of the camera. Realizing
a new and future demand for creative short content, she
recently merged her production company, FYI Productions,
with VIBE Productions, to create Show
Biz Shorts LLC., which includes Corp Shorts, Actor
Shorts, and Legacy
Flicks, and the recently launched RezBuzz.com.
Gray has produced and directed many award
winning film productions including "I
Can't Marry You ", narrated by Betty DeGeneres,
mother of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, which aired
on PBS, film comedy Million
Dollar Salad, several television series including
" Way Off Broadway" and " Hello South Florida
.", as well as numerous television commercials. Catherine
also worked on the award winning film " Laughing
Matters More ", which won many film festival awards,
and co-produced other film productions such as Comedienne
Kate Clinton's 25 th Anniversary Concert, and Laughing
Matters - The Men, starring famous comedy writer Bruce
Vilanch, who writes for Bette Midler and Whoopi Goldberg.
These programs air on Viacom's LOGO Network. Most recently
she produced Millionaires
True Stories.
Ms. Gray has an exceptional sales and
business background, having achieved the status of being
the top advertising account executive in the country for
over a decade with TCI and AT&T Media Services, generating
millions of dollars in revenues for the company. Catherine
also served as a Vice President of Advertising for C1TV,
a start-up cable network in South Beach, and worked
as a consultant to Bravo and AMC Networks in New York
City. |

Mark Sadovnick is CEO of Corp Shorts and the Rezbuzz online recruitment community. Recognized by Business Week as one of the top search executives in the world for the past 23 years, Mark decided to join Rezbuzz to build on the vision of making it the leader in online professional video resumes.
Towards that objective, Sadovnick has now also taken the helm as CEO of Corp Shorts, that is uniquely specializing in short content video productions. The combined expertise and resources of both the Search practice and Corp Shorts, provides his clients – both corporations and individuals – the ability to brand themselves in the most effective and innovative ways, utilizing multiple video and mobile media technologies.
Sadovnick had been a Senior Partner with another boutique search firm before founding Sadovnick Partners to focus more consistently on servicing his clients on senior-level searches and meeting their urgent leadership needs over a longer term. Previously, he was the Executive Director of Jaycees International, gaining outstanding global experience and contacts. His background at Touche Ross in Montreal and Toronto included work with major clients such as Bell Canada and Northern Telecom in audit, tax and valuation. He also had corporate experience with the largest private real estate developer in Canada.
Sadovnick is on the Board of the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation, where he has created their LA Scene program for executives new to SoCal, has been active in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale Chambers of Commerce, Take Stock in Children, and sports and entertainment projects, among other organizations over the years. He is a Chartered Accountant, and graduated from McGill University in Montreal. Mark is married to Liz, and has three sons. |

A graduate of Chapman University's acclaimed
film school, Will Gordh has worked in all aspects of film
production. Gordh graduated from the high school theater
curriculum known as EPIC (Ensemble Production Company)
in Northern California, which began his intensive study
of the acting process. During his intensive film school
training, Gordh immersed himself in numerous projects,
writing, shooting, directing and editing several award-winning
short films. Since graduating with a BFA in film production
in May 2004, Gordh has been working professionally as
a writer, editor and director for several independent
production companies. As an editor, Gordh has edited feature
length films, numerous nationally syndicated television
shows and commercials, and has worked for clients such
as Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin. Gordh has also
recently completed post production on his feature length
directorial debut, "The Suicide Tapes," (www.thesuicidetapes.com)
set to come out within the next year. Gordh's technical
and creative expertise in the field of editing and cinematography
coupled with his focus on the acting process makes for
a style of filmmaking that is sleek, modern and fresh.
